Training camp !

Elbrus Nigmatullin and Sergei came to traind with Svend. This was from a time when Elbrus didn't speak
one word of English.......They stayed in our home for 1 week-just training, sleeping and watching strongman tapes.
The only english word they could say was; Svend Karlsen -The legend in Russia........That was a fun week......

 Today Svend Alexander held a mini viking strongman contest in the garden.
The events was: Farmers Walk, Deadlift, Tyre flip and Yoke Race.

We all had a relaxing day today. Athletes went home, next  time we all meet in Norway !!!

Venice !

Ulf told us the story behind Venice Beach.
It goes way back and has it's story from Venezia, Italy. You see they build canals just
like in Italy and  movie stars used to live here !!!

A trip down memory lane......Golds Gym here we come again !!!

Ulf and Svend went to Golds Gym to work out. Ulf used to live here in the 80's training with the pros.
Svend stayed here in 93 as a pro bodybuilder.
Golds Gym is huge in size !

Karl suffered a back injury, but still took 4th place today.

We had a really good time with Francis back in Scotland 2002. We got to know a
very friendly man !. This time Francis introduced us to a Norwegian speaking very friendly man, Anders !!!

I dag var vi på besøk hos tv produsenten vår, Dag Inge og partner i Oslo.
Vi fikk se den redigerte og klare utgaven av årets Norges sterkeste mann 2007 !

Gled dere sier jeg bare-dette blir kanon når det kommer på TV2 !
Vi avventer sendetid fra TV2-men regner med kanskje neste uke en gang ???
Snart begynner TV2 å sende reklame for programmet så følg med !.
Når vi har sendetid er det utrolig viktig at dere forteller det til så mange som mulig-jo flere seere vi får
jo større er sjansen  for at strongman skal overleve som tv sport !!!

Jeg legger selvsagt ut sendetid på snart vi får det !
